Nearly weeping as I read this. Thank you for articulating, biblically, what many of us have been wrestling with this week. Thank you for paying attention to what is happening to us. Thank you for being an ally. Especially thank you for the hope embedded in the end of your post. We need that reminder. Now following.
Good Biblical analysis. I get tired of things happening for which I have no control. You remind me that it’s not something I can control. The Spirit of the Lord is greater than any other spirit. Jesus Christ is King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
This is an excellent article. It’s clear and compelling in the two roads we need can choose. I choose the road that threatens the phython. Thank you for writing it.
Yes, yes and yes! After the recent actions of the SBC, I too realized that this was all spiritual wickedness coming from high places (Eph 6:12). I don’t look for demons behind every coffee pot, but the “python” has been stirred as you have stated so eloquently. Thank you for leaving us all with hope and a call to fill these chaotic days.
How you can connect Donald Trump's behavior in interviews to a democratic vote by the SBC is beyond me. Those are two very different things in their nature and character, and the one certainly does not cause or necessitate the other. What the SBC did was affirm Biblical truth - that is all. I see no reality in the connections you are attempting to make here beyond "here are two things I don't like".
This is really powerful. I really hope that you’re right about the reason being the movement of the spirit. Too often it feels like evil is winning, but this is a good reminder that God is bigger.

Thank you Holly! Cheering you on and grateful for your encouragement
I have a feeling people better buckle up before they read this.
It’s just all so sad….and yet, God is always present and always working

Good good good hermeneutic (sound application of Bible passages to inform Christian understanding and practice).
This is amazing and spot on!!!
Thank you for sharing this incredible revelation and insight
May God bless you!!!!!!

Very much agree Daniel and excellent job writing this with such passion and presence to see women as fellow ministers of the Kingdom of God!
Powerful perspective

Appreciate the word, the careful study, the intentional writing, the charge to live the gospel fully despite what may come to us.
